Specializing in aesthetics for over 8 years, Corey is a graduate of Prater Way School of Beauty and has taken several advanced training courses from The International Dermal Institute. She and her husband Ned Riley conceptualized Clearwater Day Spa and opened for business in July of 2007. Both have been Tahoe locals for over 8 years. Corey has a passion for skin care. She focuses on client’s needs and creates customized sessions that not only are enjoyable, but help heal and rejuvenate. She is a master of speed waxing and eyebrow design, as well as professional makeup artist.
Alicia has been working at Clearwater Day Spa since January 2008. She is a licensed esthetician and uses pressure point and European massage techniques mixed with a little aromatherapy to maximize relaxation during facials. She is a speedy waxer, enjoys getting clients in and out quick! Her pastimes include skiing, running, biking, nutrition, and hanging with her dog.
Victoria grew up in North Lake Tahoe and graduated from Deloux Cosmetology of Reno, NV, in 2006. She then continued her education in Los Angeles, CA, at Cinema Makeup School, where she worked on movies, commercials, and high fashion events. Victoria has been part of the Clearwater team since 2013 and specializes in makeup for special events, eyelash extensions, and customized facials. Her goal is to create visible results and have each client feel revitalized and confident in their skin.
Amy has always been gifted at caring for others. She graduated as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator from National Holistic Institute in 2014. She has additional certification as a physical therapy aide. Amy is specialized in Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, sport, trigger point, hot stone, myofascial release therapy, and more. Amy is strong and well known for her deep tissue work. She is especially good with upper back, shoulder and neck issues. She is gratified by the impact massage therapy has on her clients. She loves the reward of helping people recover from pain and enhance their wellness. Ultimately, Amy strives to improve the well being of her clients. When she is not in the massage room she enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking and enjoying all Lake Tahoe has to offer.
Nichole's journey into mind and body healing began in 1999, while traveling through Thailand. During a 90-day study of Thai massage, yoga and meditation, Nichole realized her dream to bring peace and balance to her clients. After Thailand, Nichole furthered her massage education in 2004, completing her certification at Truckee's Body Being Massage School. That vision has evolved into a wide-range of specialties, including doula services and birth education, children's yoga, prenatal, deep tissue, injury recovery, Swedish, and sports therapy massage. She looks and listens to her clients body as she is works to create a mixture of therapies needed.
Mary Ingersoll has a BA degree in Natural resources from The Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington. Mary then found her calling and graduated from the Brian Utting school of massage in 1992. Mary has been practicing massage for 18 years with a steady belief in her ability to heal through her hands. Mary has strong techniques in Structural Integration, deep tissue injury work, and reflexology. Mary believes in mind, body, spirit, connection and helps each client find theirs through touch. Mary's love for the outdoor life and health brought her to North Lake Tahoe where she looks forward to treating you!
Deanna grew up in Maine and moved to California 5 years ago in search of the mountains and sunshine. She traveled to India and studied yoga and now teaches locally. Her interests in the physical subtle bodies allured her to massage therapy. Deanna studied Lomi Lomi on the Big Island, HI, and became certified in Ashiatsu. Deanna's focus is to help her clients by tapping into her intuitive mind and give them the freedom and release where their bodies and minds are calling for it.
The warmth and radiance that comes from Zonia’s hands has been referred to by clients and family as “Manos de Dios” (Hands of God). This experience is Life Force energy (the animating force found in all living things) being spiritually guided to the places inside your body that needs the most love, light, and attention. She combines this intuitive knowledge with her training in Esalen massage and therapeutic DeepBody work that demonstrates knowledge of the physical anatomy. Each session is unique to the client with the goal of relaxation, peace, and alleviation of pain.
Andrew is a fantastic Massage Therapist who received his degree from the New York College of Health Professions in 2009. He is trained in the modalities of medical massage, Asian bodywork, trigger point, sports therapy, reflexology, hot stone, Swedish, and deep tissue. With experience in Spa and Medical Clinic settings, Andrew incorporates his study of both Eastern and Western medical knowledge, which includes Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, Myology, Neurology, Pathology, and the Asian Acupuncture system of Channels and Points. He takes a very balanced approach to healing and fine tuning the many different conditions that can occur within the body. From damaged muscles, to enhancing the immune system, to getting rid of that reoccurring headache, Andrew will have the remedy your body is looking for.
Ulrika Priman (Erika)
Ulrika Priman was born and grew up in Sweden. While traveling in the U.S. as a young adult she came to Lake Tahoe and fell in love with the nature and people. That was over twenty years ago and she considers the area to be her true home. Erika enjoys and has practiced massage therapy for 11 years. She graduated from The Healing Arts Institute in Sacramento, CA, and has traveled the world sharing her massage talents. Recently, she spent 5 years in Sweden where she practiced her massage skills on elder care patients, worked in Swedish spas and provided healing massage sessions to government employees. Erika's massage work is deeply healing and very intuitive. She lets her hands do the seeing and will adjust the massage for the needs of each individual she sees and tailors each treatment accordingly. Erika specializes in deep tissue massage work that will release stress and tension while bringing on complete relaxation. Erika's healing touch will bring peace, harmony and balance to your body and spirit. Her positive and healthy outlook on life pours out in her treatments and brings clients back for more.
Lynne (Vicky) Vickery
Vicky has been a Tahoe City local for 20 years and an experienced massage therapist in the North Tahoe and Squaw Valley area for 17 years. She is a member of the California chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association which strives to advance the art, science, and practice of massage therapy in a caring, professional and ethical manner. Vicky specializes in deep tissue, sports therapy, Reflexology, Shiatsu, craniosacral, and hot stone therapy and can integrate all these modalities into a long, rhythmic, flowing massage. Her passion for the work she does is given to each individual client. She will custom design all massages to address each individuals needs and her goal is to make sure you leave feeling more balanced, relaxed and rejuvenated!
